Michele has recently participated in residencies at Bemis Center for Contemporary Art, MacDowell Colony, and Pilchuck Glass School. Her work was selected for Critics' Picks:Just Looking at Maryland Art Place in Baltimore and The Empire of Sighs at Numark Gallery in Washington, D.C., When You Least Expect It at Harford Community College in Maryland, A Bearable Lightness…Likeness at P.S. 1 Contemporary Art Center in New York, and Conversions at Arlington Arts Center in Virginia. She was a Sculptor-in-Residence at Annmarie Garden in southern Maryland. She is also a recipient of a Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant.
